Chapter 989 Messing with the Ye Family (1)

With Ye Qing Huan leading the way, Lin Fan was dragged out of the city.

When that spiritual energy gathered in the air, Lin Fan recognized where he had seen this before.

It was the same wraiths that Ye Qing Huan had raised before.

Though Lin Fan had no idea why Ye Qing Huan was summoning these wraiths again all of a sudden like this.

After summoning the wraiths, Ye Qing Huan just brought her hand down in front of her and the wraiths turned in that direction that she brought her hand down in. The wraiths only remained still for a second before suddenly disappearing.

It wasn't that they disappeared into thin air, it was that they suddenly went forward and disappeared into the ground.

So they just couldn't escape from the blockade of the wraiths.

After a while, Ye Qing Huan finally turned back to Lin Fan to say, "Alright, it's time to take care of them."

Without even explaining what she meant by this, Ye Qing Huan pulled out a mask to cover her face before jumping out from the tree that they were in. With this single jump, she flew off in the direction of the group that she was tormenting with the wraiths.

A bitter smile appeared on Lin Fan's face when he saw this before he also pulled out a mask to put on and he flew out in the same direction.

While he didn't know why Ye Qing Huan was doing all of this, he wanted to believe that she had some kind of reason for it. So he went along with her to see where she was going with this.

When they arrived in the area where this group was trapped, Ye Qing Huan didn't hesitate to go down and punch one of the black clothed figures from above. She hit them right on the top of their heads and then knocked them down into the ground.

The others were caught off guard by Ye Qing Huan suddenly doing this, but they didn't remain caught off guard for long.

It seemed that they had been well trained so they immediately pulled out their weapons and prepared for a fight. However, Ye Qing Huan seemed to have already prepared for this as there was a shockwave that followed after that punch from her.

It knocked all of them to the ground before they were hit head on with the wraith.

When they were hit with the wraith like this, there was a powerful chill that filled them as if they were being completely drained. They couldn't do a single thing as their eyes rolled back in their sockets and they lost consciousness.

Lin Fan watched all of this with a bitter smile as he couldn't help thinking to himself, "Did you really need me?"

But he still jumped down to where Ye Qing Huan was.

When he jumped down, Ye Qing Huan picked up the person that she knocked out and pulled off their mask before tossing them over to Lin Fan. As she tossed this person, she said, "Go on, see if you can get any information from them. Feel free to use torture if you want."

Lin Fan didn't know what to say to this, but he waved his hand and created a chair of dirt before tossing that person into that chair. With another wave of his hand, there were these shackles of dirt that appeared that locked this person in place.

Then with another wave of his hand, there was this ball of water that hit that person in the face, waking them up.

After waking up, that person quickly looked around as if they were trying to figure out what was happening before seeing Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan standing there.

With gritted teeth, that person said, "Do you know what you're doing? Do you know who you're messing with?"

Lin Fan couldn't help raising a brow when he heard this since this was such a cliche thing for a villain to say that he was surprised to actually hear someone say this. But it didn't seem like Ye Qing Huan was surprised at all by this person saying this.

Seeing that neither of them seemed to react to this, the person in the chair suddenly said, "You're messing with the Ye Family of the Heavenly Demon Sect! Do you even know how powerful the Ye Family is? Release me now or you'll regret it!"

When he heard this, Lin Fan couldn't help slowly looking at Ye Qing Huan with a strange look.
