In a flash, the inspectors drew their weapons, firing relentlessly at the drone. Within seconds, amidst a barrage of gunfire, the drone plummeted to the ground.
“Be careful, it might be rigged!” Wang Yue cautioned as her team moved to inspect the wreckage.
Taking no chances, the program inspectors donned gloves and picked up a shield to protect themselves as they approached the fallen drone. This cautious approach certainly paid respect to the dangers Wang Yun could have prepared.
“Captain, there’s nothing here, just an ordinary camera,” one inspector reported back to Wang Yue.
Wang Yue’s brow furrowed in suspicion. “Wang Yun’s people must be nearby. Let’s move quickly to search– Hold your breath!”
Before she could finish, as the inspector holding the drone approached the group, the drone suddenly sprayed a cloud of powder.
This left everyone completely unprepared. Wang Yue was positioned at the back, far from the dispersing powder. The pink powder sprayed out too rapidly, directly hitting the faces of the three people in front.
