Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity

Chapter 275: Untitled

Chapter 275: Untitled

A little while later, Leon and the rest exited Bloodrock City and plotted a path toward the Undergod territory. It was like a not-so-distant memory when Leon had stepped into this city with a troop of twenty rascals.

Now, after close to a year, he was leaving with 500 highly trained soldiers equipped with the most expensive weapons and equipment.

He had done very well for himself.

But there was a lot more to come. Now, he had his eyes set on the Undergod territory. Would he reap much more benefits from it? Or would he be consumed by the flames of war and die without accomplishing his goals.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Three days later,

"Achooo!!" In the lead of a horse troop, a young man with white hair and a crimson set of armor sneezed seriously while he rubbed his nose.

They were currently riding past a great forest region boardering Trafalgar forest. Although both were magnificent, they dared not touch.

It had been three days since they left Bloodrock City and they were still not halfway to the Undergod territory. This was, of course, partly because they had taken the long route in hopes of dodging the dry lands.

Even though it didn’t exclusively belong to the Golden Griffin Clan, they still had a lot of friends around that would gladly report any sightings of Blood Serpent Clan members to the Golden Griffin Clan to curry favor.

"Won’t it disturb their formation?" Behind Leon, Arian raised her eyebrows at Ember and Liana, who were standing right beside her.

"Ehh, of course not," Ember said with a coy smile on her face. Liana had forced herself on this trip because she wanted to see her unapproachable disciple of hers who had decided to play hooky all of a sudden.

If he was anywhere, he had to be here with Leon and his troop.

"Ahh, okay." Arian was a bit hesitant, but she slowly took the reins off both Ember’s and Liana’s horses, allowing them to slowly float off the backs of the horses and toward the 500-man formation behind them.

He didn’t understand.

"We’re being hailed," Ken said to Leon as he slowly reduced the speed of his carriage.

"Ohh," Leon nodded after hearing this. Then, with his left hand, he pulled off a poleaxe attached to the side of his horse.

He raised it into the air and signaled the troop of 500 men behind him. A second later, the troop curved into an arc formation, placing Leon and Ken’s carriage and men in the middle.

With another wave of the hand, the formation leaned to the side, altering the formation’s trajectory as they moved forward.

"What’s going on?" Liana and Ember landed on their horses and asked with a frown on their faces.

"We are being hailed by the Terragor Clan," Liana responded calmly and with maximum composure. The supreme leader of the Blood Serpent Clan, City Lord Nephron, already had an agreement with the Terragor Clan on the passage of their clan through this territory.

Even with the issues with the Golden Griffin Clan, Nephron was still a substantial political member of the Sacred Land community, coupled with his newfound strength. He was a force to be reckoned with.

A few minutes later, a formation of 500 members of the Terragor Clan and Leon’s troop came face to face, and Ken stepped forward to speak to them with Leon following closely behind.

"Greetings," Ken said with a pretentious wide smile on his face. This entire thing was tiring for him, but it was something he had to go through.

It was just formalities.

But after a few seconds of waiting, the team of Terragor clansmen who stood in front of them stayed quiet, slowly observing.

"Is anything the matter?" Ken, still maintaining his fake smile, inquired. They were keeping up airs, as if their being here was much more than a routine check. It annoyed Ken.

"Who’s in the carriage over there?" The leader of the Terragor troop, a brutish-looking young man with green skin, asked while looking directly at Ken’s carriage.
