As the banquet went on into the evening, the leaders of the myriad clans had their fill of the succulents wild meat and several items of wine and juices.

It was truly a feast.

Whilst they indulged in bliss, the knife throwing match reached its climax with each throw and deflect sounding like a crescendo of sounds. Subtle and melodic but dangerous.

The door at the front swung open and a youthful figure stepped into the hall and at that exact moment-—

The knife left the back of the hall and went spiraling to the front in a brazen attempt.

"Impudent!!!" A voice resounded next to the young man as in an instant the knife was shut down with the fling of a hand.

An assassination attempt on these very grounds? Especially on one of the second sky sovereigns? Other than impudent what other word could be used to describe such a brazen action?

"Who??" The man whom stood before the young sky sovereign asked with rage in his eyes, they invited them here to celebrate such a momentous occasion and they tried to kill one of their leaders? Someone had to die.

The entire hall went deathly silent. This joke of a challenge had in a second turned to something else, who amongst them dared to take the sky sovereigns life?

"Stop overreacting Barus, do you think a knife could ever succeed in killing me?" Contrary to the reaction from the guard, the young man seemed much more relaxed about the situation "Especially one from a weakling"

His eyes drifted through the crowd and landed on Kang before looking away and heading to his sit at the helm of the hall. It was as if saying I know it was you but also keeping the atmosphere cordial.

"I guess so" Leon responded with a causal nod. He heard about what happened and knew very well when the plans were taking place but he had never actually seen the golden Griffin old man Drothan.

If the golden Griffin clan was the defacto leader of the sacred lands before. With the addition of this new guy they would be the undisputed leaders.

Just based on strength alone, there was no force they couldn’t demolish.

"Firstly," as silence soon overcame the hall, the first sky sovereign spoke. " I would like to thank you all for showing up so unexpectedly to this place."

"Who would have thought that you all would have it in your hearts to come congratulate us on such a glorious moment. As for those who couldn’t make it....sad" the first sky sovereign Ziaman spoke with glee and meaning.

Those who didn’t come would face what the golden griffin clan had in store for them. They just had to wait and see .

"We are obliged by your presence first sky sovereign, you have honored us" the gigantic leader of the titianium giant clan spoke calmly, yet his words resounded throughout the hall.

He and his clansmen had not been here last time, just like some other clans who abstained from the event. However they would all face the same tune hence him forcing his giant body to climb this place.

"You’re welcome," ziaman nodded before turning to Drothan. "Would you like to do the honors Brother?"

"Yes" Drothan smiled and turned to the crowd.

"This is our dear brother and the celebrant Drothan, he will be taking things from here" The first Sky sovereign thane looked to the crowd before introducing the new Sky sovereign.

He was a well aged man unlike Thane, rumors had it that he had lived for as much time as even Ziaman. Of course those were just rumors. In truth he was barely 350 years old. He was just unfortunate to have become strong at an old age.

"I won’t waste all of your time, let the festivities commence" Drothan smiled and said with a wide smile on his face.
