"What’s this all about Marquee Cane " the elder Titch looked over at the marquee and asked.
Elder Titch, in terms of power, and status was way ahead of the marquee who was only at the beginning stage of level 4. He had to refer to this Titch as elder too.
"Great Elder, the issue spawned from nothing, they randomly laid seige to my family’s infrastructure. We had no choice" the marquee explained that he didn’t provoke them at all..
Naturally this was a lie, but he wouldn’t sayi it with his own mouth.
"Don’t lie to me Cane, I can see through you" the great elder looked at Leon with a slight shake of his head.
In actual fact, he knew very well why they were at loggerheads. He had directed cane aggressive method of taking over the faceless mercenary company himself. What he didn’t expect was that the vertan faction had such accumulations.
It seemed like Damien knew what he was doing before getting captured.
"Sigh!!! What will it take solve this issue" shaking his head at Cane, the great elder turned back to Leon and the other to say.
He was at fault for the conflict in truth, but there was no way in hell that he would admit to it. But he would solve it for Cane.
"The release of both Damien and his first Disciple" Half-moon spoke firmly causing the great elder to frown deeply.
"You make demands of the royalty?" The great elder Titch looked at half moon with annoyance.
Who was this level 3 mage in the first place? Did he think because they had a level 4 mage on their side that they could offend the royalty?
"Of course not great sire, it is but a request " Noticing the look on the great elders face. leon stepped forward to defuse the situation.
Half-moon wanted to bring Damien back for something reason. But Leon knew this wasn’t easily achieved at the moment.
"This discussion is between your organisation and the dalriss family. Keep the royaltys business out of it" Titch said firmly then looked over at Leon favorably.
He found it shameful that, Leon who didnt seem to be that old was much wiser and could read the room better than Half-moon here.
"But.....what is this about Damien’s first disciple?" After a second and a heavy sigh, the great elder Titch asked this question.
They had taken Damien for destroying several blocks in the central City. He understood that part, but what was this rubbish about Damiens first deciple?
"Jade sire, the great mage Damien’s first disciple, she was abducted by the Dalriss family" Leon explained what happened to the elder Titch.
This was the only person that could command the marquee to do anything apart from the King.
"Cane? Are you in the business of kidnapping now?" Titch turned back to the marquee and asked in a condescending tone.@@@@
What kind of a person kidnaps a young lady from a place of combat? If he wanted to be perverted, did he have to do it so openly?
This was one of the reasons the other marquees didn’t help. They were disgusted by Cane’s actions and Leon made sure they all knew about it.
"I didn’t do it" Cane said between his teeth.. this had escalated too quickly. The accusations how was he going to beat them with this much evidence.
"Sigh!!" The great elder looked at cane and shook his head.
"The royalty will investigate this matter....if we find her in his possession we will compensate you and your organisation" The great elder Titch suggested. He had to take charge of this before it turned on their heads.
"We appreciate great elders generosity.....but in this matter, we can not let it go on for too long. We understand that the sky festival is coming up in a week, if after then she’s not returned we will resume our aggression"
"Even with the possibility of mutual destruction....we are ready to accompany the dalriss family to the Death. Even old man faystone is in support of our decision"
Leon’s words cut deep.
To the death.
If this happened they would be severely wounded losing not just one level 4 existence, But three. Yes, even Damien would completely fall out with them if he heard about such a situation. After all, Jade was his flesh and blood.
"I promise to sort this whole matter out" the great elder didn’t even know when he started speaking to Leon as an equal. It sounded absurd that a middle stage level 4 mage was speaking to someone at level 2 like this.
But this was the case.
"Then we must thank you" Leon bowed slightly then turned around to leave with his people.
The scene was awe-inspiring.
However, just when Leon left two figured entered the hall through another door and walked towards the great elder.
Amongst them was someone Leon would recognize
It was the kid he had met in the duan royal Palace. The kid from the sky temple. They had missed each other by but a hairs breath.
"The other envoys are here, we can now speak about the details of the competition" the master of the young man from the sky Palace said the the great elder Titch.
"Okay, I’ll go see them. Cane you don’t go anywhere. I’ll be back soon" the great elder looked at Cane and commanded.
He would have a stern talking with Cane when he was done with the envoys from the sky Palace.

During the next few days, the attacks on the Dalriss family stopped as Leon promised.
He was giving the royalty face by doing this....After all, they wouldn’t want the in fighting between organisation of the kingdom to give them a bad name when they had guest from outside the kingdom.
