Chapter 104 Necromantic Communication Spell
Chapter 104 Necromantic Communication Spell
The Necromantic Communication spell and the Summon Skeleton spell that Fried previously cast belong to two different systems of necromancy.
The skeletons that Fried summons are combat-type spells designed to enhance necromancy.
Necromantic communication spells have no combat purpose; they are used for gathering intelligence.
Of course, the Tower of Dawn also imposed many restrictions on this spell.
However, these rules and regulations are not actually strictly enforced, and there is an exception outside of these rules and regulations.
It means that when a wizard's life is threatened, they can use it without regard to any rules or restrictions.
The current misuse of inferior quality potions by these decapitation squads could lead to the emergence of numerous mutated creatures.
Casting necromancy under these circumstances is clearly an exception.
Leo looked at the illusory figure and asked.
"What's your name?"
"My name is Morgans."
Why did you attack me?
"Because of hatred."
Why do you hate me?
"Because you are a wizard."
Why do you hate wizards?
"Because wizards attacked my family and used them as experimental subjects. They cut off my family members' legs because of their experiments. They then died from excessive blood loss."
Upon hearing this, Leo raised an eyebrow and asked, "You didn't witness your family being attacked by a wizard?"
"no."
"Then why do you believe that wizards used your family as experimental subjects?"
"Because Earl Laurent said so."
"You believe Earl Laurent's words? Why?"
"The Earl of Laurent was very kind to us who were persecuted by wizards. He gave us food, clothing, and the strength to fight the wizards."
Upon hearing this, Leo turned and glanced at Bose.
These words are exactly the same as what Bose said.
This Earl Laurent is very strange.
"Where did you get the sacred medicine and divine power in your hands?"
"Given by Earl Laurent."
Under the influence of the spell, all the undead's answers were correct.
After asking some questions, Leo dispelled the spell and then used Necromancer's Communication to question the other dead.
As a result, although these people hated the wizard for different reasons, none of them had personally witnessed how the wizard persecuted their families.
All they knew was that Count Laurent had given them the power to help them kill the wizards who were persecuting them.
After careful questioning, Leo confirmed that Bose was not lying.
Leo looked at Bose, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Bose, come along."
As Leo spoke, he cast a pumpkin carriage spell, came to Boss's side, and grabbed him by the shoulder.
Bose, not understanding what Leo intended to do, was startled and said, "Wizard, please don't kill me! I beg you, please don't kill me! I really didn't mean to attack you. Wizard, spare me, spare me!"
Leo said, "Quiet down, just come with me."
Boss quickly shut his mouth and flew away with Leo in a state of unease.
Leo led Bose back to the spot they had just left.
The man waited in the same spot, in the exact same place as before.
After landing, Leo said, "Take me to Camp's house."
The man glanced at Boss and replied, "Yes, Wizard, please follow me."
Once he was certain that Leo had no intention of killing him for the time being, Boss patted his chest and breathed a sigh of relief.
After walking along a path paved with white stones, Leo and his two companions arrived at a house built of stone.
The door to the house was open, and there was a wooden stool in front of it. A burly man sat on the stool, lost in thought.
The man leading the way pointed at the other man and said, "My lord wizard, that's Kemp. He's been like this ever since his family died. He's even lost interest in his shoemaking job."
Leo stepped forward and said, "Hello, Mr. Kemp, my name is Leo, from the Tower of Dawn. I have a letter here, it's about Ms. Elise."
Leo handed the letter over.
Kemp looked at Leo with a cold expression, took the letter, tore open the envelope, read the contents, and then tore it up and threw it aside.
Without turning his head, Kemp said, "If Elise wants to come back, then let her come back. Sending her to the Tower of Dawn was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made."
Seeing this, Leo said, "Understood, Mr. Kemp. I will pass on your message."
After delivering the letter, Leo turned to leave.
Kemp, however, looked at Leo's retreating figure with suspicion and said, "Wait, didn't you come here to ask me to persuade Elise to stay in the Tower of Dawn?"
Leo laughed and said, "Mr. Kemp, you may have misunderstood. Ms. Elise is indeed talented, but whether she can become a wizard or not is of no interest to me, given her current abilities."
Upon hearing this, Kemp's face turned ashen.
"You wizards really don't care about the lives of us mortals at all."
Leo smiled and said, "I admit that. However, we wizards don't casually flaunt our power in mortal kingdoms."
Kemp narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "Are you saying that what's happening in my house has nothing to do with you wizards?"
'
"I don't know that," Leo said. "But if Mr. Kemp wants to know the reason, you only need to agree to one small condition, and I can help you. I possess a spell that allows me to communicate with the dead as long as I can touch a corpse. Whether that's true or not is entirely up to you to decide."
Kemp asked, "What are the conditions?"
"A part of Ms. Elise's grandfather's body."
"Impossible! He was my friend, I would never let you handle his corpse!"
"Then the deal is off. Farewell, Mr. Kemp."
Leo didn't linger at all and turned to leave.
"etc!"
Kemp watched Leo's retreating figure, his eyes flickering with uncertainty, and said, "Fine, I can agree to that."
Kemp toned down his sharp tone and said, "Mr. Leo, please come with me."
Leo instructed the person behind him, "Bows, wait for me here."
Upon hearing this, a smile appeared on Bose's face.
Wait?
He won't wait.
As soon as Leo left, he immediately fled.
However, Leo added, "Of course, if you leave directly, I can't guarantee what I'll do to you next."
Bouston immediately smiled broadly and said, "Don't worry, Wizard, I won't go anywhere."
But inside, I was crying.
After giving instructions to Boss, Leo followed Camp back into the house.
Kemp handed a jar to Leo and said, "This contains my wife's ashes... because she died in such a tragic way, I didn't choose burial, but cremation."
Leo said, "This is enough."
Leo activated the Necromancer's Communication spell.
Immediately, a phantom appeared in the room.
Upon seeing the phantom, Kemp excitedly rushed over, shouting, "Diana!"
